Whats up people. Uno's Underground (currently D.U. Productons) is exactly what the name reads. Every artist within the label have been produced/recorded/mixed by Uno his equipment the pc being used right now to type this. Why this name? I claim the name uno because I am the first and only born child from my father who is hispanic and mother who is (white) french/indian. My mother later remairried to another man and had 2 other children from him. I am that one that stands out in the family. In result I carry the nickname Uno. As far as the label goes D.U. Productions comes from the original name which was Uno's Underground. Once we decided to go all out Production and sign on with BMI and go through the legal process my boys said why not go with D.U. i said huh......and Zano says yea for Deuce U or U. U. as in Uno's Underground so i was like ok yea sounds good lol

Do you play live? Yes, in clubs, parking lots, at the University NSU. At first I was nervous because I didn't know how the public was going to react to me, I knew which two outcomes were a possibility but I did not know which one it was going to be. Once some feedback came my way everything was cool. And about special moments, I remember I started freestyling up at my college and people who were walking by stopped and before I knew it I was surrounded by about 30-40 people. I believe I left there with more confidence in myself than I have ever had in my whole life.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry? It allows the opportunity to get music to more people than otherwise possible.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label? Yes, in fact Its one of the reasons We've decided to put our stuff on the net. Band History: A Little About Uno's Underground/D.U. Productons: Uno a 23 year old mutt, started back in 96, freestyling with his boys and casually writing poetry. He never really got into writing lyrics for songs at this time, however he was using computers to put tracks down that he had recorded from friends or mixed for his djing interest. Swishahouse came up shortly after Dj Screw passed (R.I.P.) and the Underground screwed up scene blew up in the south. In 2000 He began to master mixing programs and started screwing and chopping underground labels around Alexandria. One of the albums under his production (screwed version) was by a no longer lasting group called QHC. (Quality House Click) In 2001 while attending NSU for a Computer Information Systems degree he began learning production programs and producing misc. artist around alexandria, Louisiana. After QHC broke up in late 2002 one of the members (Lil Mike) joined Uno and Uno's Underground was born consisting of 2 artist. He began recording and producing his album. This began the inspiration for Uno to become a lyricist himself. He officially pushed his way into the Underground M.C. world in February of 2003. Since then Uno's Undergound has undergone major changes, new artist are constantly being signed to the once Underground Set that is constantly growing into one of the biggest labels in the boot. Zano C!!!!... Remember the name!!!, Stitch, Tre and Dee have dropped tracks with the label. Young Boss and Dessaline have finished solo projects and collaborations within the label and others like Fokissed, Nas, Trelli Trell and Pro Producers lyricist have collabed with the label. Uno currently has 5 albums under his name and has 2 hiphop battle cds being compliled from various semi finals and finalist standings at www.fokissed.com/forums. D.U. Productions is offically here to stay....so keep in touch playas & playettes!!!!!!

Your influences? Well there are so many. Dre, 2pac, Nas, Shady, Spice1, UGK, 8-Ball, Obie, Green Lantern, DJ Screw the list goes on. As far as what, I would have to say my life. I have been through some really tough S***, being a lyricist gives me a way to vent everything out. Favorite spot? Flordia Keys, and Home were ever that may be
