The 23 yr old producer/rapper began producing at the age of 14 and has developed into a force behind the sound boards. "i dont wanna just be a rapper....i wanna be a entertainer", says Richie, when asked about his plans as a hiphop star. His plans to entertain might come a little sooner that expected with the release of his debut album "Play My Music" on the independent label StarWriterz Ent/BankBoy Music. The 1st single off the album "Let It Ride" is already gaining popularity in the hiphop community, and has the makings of a huge dance hit in the clubs as well!!

At just 23 yrs old, Richie Bank aka "Mr. Get Crunk" has managed to single handidly move Crunk music from its home in the South and bring it to the hoods and suburbs of the EastCoast!! "I been into crunk music since like forever....", says Richie when explaining his favorite types of music. Bankz began producing at the age of 14 while attending Cab Calloway School Of Performing Arts. His early productions were mainly inspired by the premiere artists of the 90's such as Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, and the late Tupac Shakur. Richie explians when he first heard crunk music...."i heard a record called "Whistle While U Twurk", and then i heard "Ay Yi Yi" by the Ying Yang Twins, and i knew i had to do crunk music.....it was like having fun while making music", he says. Richie eventually took on the name "Dat Crunk Boi", and then changed it to "Mr. Get Crunk" in early 2008. "...people had to get use to seeing a east coast dude doing crunk music, but it made me stand out....i like it", says Richie when talking about his career. That "stand-out" style is what earned Bankz the title as "the most creative independent producer/rapper in the Tri-State area (Philadelphia,New Jersey, Delaware)! With his wild versatile style, it was only a matter of time before Richie turned into a fully versatile entertainer. His debut album "Play My Music" is proof that he will be a force to be reckoned with in the industry! His recent merge with the independent company StarWriterz Ent./Richie Rich Promotionz has also proved to be a GREAT move!
