Lyricz is fast-emerging as one of todays young, hot, and most gifted independent hip- hop artists. Equipped with a superstar persona and a creative, mature, positive, and fresh attitude, his growing fan-base recognizes that he is separated from the typical artist in his genre due to a smooth and unique sound that captures the audience. His style is notably different because of his choice to avoid use of profanity as a tool to entertain fans or reach his peak in the industry.

Lyricz encountered a passion for rap and hip-hop after immigrating to Brooklyn, NY from his native Barbados. He first heard hip-hop music at the age of seven (7) and has since been drawn to the entire culture. He credits major icons such as Bone Thugs n Harmony, 2 Pac, and most recently Lil Wayne, among others, as the sources of his inspiration to become a performer in the industry and is proud to have been raised in the same communities such as Jay-Z and The Notorious B.I.G, icons who have also deeply influenced his style. His aim is to emulate the qualities he most admires in them to be bold, have a message, a catchy flow, and a good work ethic, and to consistently re-invent themselves and raise their creative levels.

Even at the tender age of 18, Lyricz resume boasts deep roots in the hip-hop industry, decorated with performances at events such as the National Wide Talent Show in Harlem and the MNN Television Broadcast, stretching over 5 years and management under Musik Note Entertainment. Performing, for him, is a sort of sixth sense he describes as a living and breathing of hip-hop. In his own words, being on stage is no challenge for this young boy.

Lyricz plans for the future include a successful and long career, in which he hopes to shape hip-hop into something that is constantly evolving and most importantly, a tool to bring joy into peoples lives. He plans to manage his own recording label as a CEO and is destined to be the next major icon in his genre.
