The only boy to be born out of three kids. Bernard Lampkin was born on August 22, 1991 In St. Louis Missouri on the north side .He moved to Chicago at the age of 5 but has been back and forth all his life. Two years later his older cousin Silent of Winner Records introduced him to the rap game. Silent gave him the name Baby A (naming him after his real name Anthony). He showed him how to write songs at an early age, and he has been at it every since. In 2005 moved to another area in Chicago were he meets his first grope member Young (Yung) Raze, and that is also when he changed to L- Side. They and another member Black-N-Mild became Dem Grimmy Boys. But do to conflict between L-Side and Black-N-Mild; Black-N-Mild was dropped from the grope. L-Side and Young (Yung) Raze formed the grope Loony Goons, the changed it to Da Grimmy Goons. In 2007 Young (Yung) Raze came over L-Side’s house and told him that he that he should change his name to J.R. Red. He took It as a joke but then he started to frill it and the he made the change. Now Young (Yung) Raze has his own record label Called I’m Beat.ENT, and J.R. Red 3rd album "Life behind 16 Bars" coming out on December 22, 2007, and he’s working on his grope album with his cousin Lil Crayzie as Da STL Boiz. Name TBA. Red is also working on a mixtape called "How You Wont It Vol.1".
