Willie Joe Got Em Talking Willie Joe and his company Wataboy Entertainment are a hot topic of discussion. Willie Joes independent single Get Em Got Em landed on two Billboard Charts last week. Youll find him sitting at ..25 on the Hot 100 Singles Sales Chart and ..25 on the Hip Hop/R&B Singles Sales Chart. In a few short weeks the single is expected to climb even further. Representatives of Face2Face MEG, the coordinators of the FYE promotion that allows Willie Joe to compete for a chart position on Billboard, are impressed by the debut. Two prominent Radio One employees are also very impressed and supportive of Willie Joe. Akini of Hot 107.9 in Atlanta is the host and producer of a weekly showcase that Willie Joe made history at last week. At the Royal Peacock defending his Best of the Best title, Willie Joe became the first artist to win the title twice in the shows three year existence. After the second winning performance of Get Em Got Em Akini remarked, Willie Joe by far is the next artist out of Atlanta hands down and thats a guarantee this year. Marsha Meadows, VP of Marketing for Radio One, immediately requested a copy of the single after seeing him perform last month at the Almost Famous Show at Club Vinyl in Atlanta. To assist in breaking the record, Ms. Meadows recently sent the record to Radio One Program Directors and Mixshow DJs across the country. Established artists and producers continue to embrace Willie Joe and are fans of his music as well. Atlantic Rap Artist Yola, with the hit single I Aint Gone Let Up, quickly jumped on the remix to Get Em Got Em. That version of the hit single will soon be serviced to radio along with the original. TI's Award Winning Prooducer, DJ Toomp, is yet another advocate for Willie Joe and has collaborated with him on a couple of records. Stars are born, but hard work, preparation and undeniable talent is what stars are made of.
