Jamar A Strawter: However known to the music world as Soulja, was born in Louisville, KY 8/9/86 and resides there till this day. He discovered his love for Rap music as a young child during his elementary school years. He would play around with beats and rhyme just for fun. At the time his priority was the streets since his father was rarely ever around to show him the ropes of becoming a man, he used the streets as his guide. He was never really a big menace to society, but he realized that slanging drugs and roaming free without discipline would soon be his downfall. So in 06/07 he chose Rap as his outlet and began to take it very seriously...Jamar decided to make Rap his career. Since than Soulja has been doing show's for Louisville club's (Club Crunk (2),Villa Fontana(1) to house party's to out of town show's. He headlined his first tour in 2007 "The Showtyme Showcase Tour" and even Dj'd for (Shawnee High School Graduation ,Shawnee High School Home Coming ,Dixie Bowl ,2120 Spot). Soulja has also been a house Dj at "Club Bentley's II". Soulja has worked with some of the best like, (Hurricane, Big Dre, Dj B Real, Dj Infamous One, Stook, Dj Testarosa, DJ DCeezy , Sista D, Twanne Baby). He has also gained much respect and bullied relationships with some of the games best like: (Bengie B, Cognito, T-Bo, Gangsta, Tank all artist on Master P's Label Guttar Music Ent, B.O.B (Atlantic Records), Street Runnaz Click, Lil Whyte (Hypnotize Minds LLC.),Dj Scrap (Louisiana 1 Dj),"O" (A&R Slip N Slide Record),Natural (Rep. Koch Ent./Sony Music Group/Doggie Style Records) along with others. Soulja is looking to break records and make instant classic's, first by finishing his album, promoting the album and doing show's to showcase his talent and skills as one of the best artist out, and at the end of the day he says the most important thing for him is once he reaches the game is always represent and never forget were he came from "Louisville, Ky."
